On to our ministry update…I want to mention a couple of dates coming up when I will be speaking.  I'll be speaking in Raleigh, NC on March 23rd; Tampa Bay, FL on April 28th; Concord, NC on May 28th; and Atlanta, GA on June 29th.  Maybe through one of the committees in those cities, you will have a chance to attend one of these events.

First of all, lets talk about racing!  That's what we do around here.  We have 100 events a year between our Cup Racing, Nationwide series, and Motocross team so we are criss-crossing the country all the time.  So, lets start off with a little cup update.

A Life-Changing Experience for Me

Last week I had the opportunity to go to Orlando and speak.  There were roughly 1,000 people there at this event at First Baptist Church of Orlando.  David Uth is the pastor there and he's a great guy.  Later that day I had an opportunity to go to a local prison and speak.  It really was a life-changing experience for me to speak there.  There were 1,000 prisoners in the courtyard at the prison and it was raining that day.  So, I walked out into the courtyard with them and for the next 40 minutes, I gave them my testimony.

Facing Adversity

We are all hard at work here!  As you know, the racing season is well underway.  We already had our first race, the Shootout at Daytona.  In the race, we finished fourth, fifth, and seventh.  You might say that it was a good finish for us and to be happy with that but it's amazing what goes on behind the scenes in racing.
