Jason Baker is a former NFL punter. He played college football at Iowa and was signed by the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent in 2001. He has also played for the Philadelphia Eagles, Kansas City Chiefs, Indianapolis Colts, Denver Broncos, and Carolina Panthers.
Jason grew up in the Catholic church. He always felt like he had to check a lot of boxes to be a good guy. In college, his sister was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Through this difficult circumstance and through conversations with others about it, he grew closer to Christ. "The more I learned about God, the more I knew I needed him," he said. In the video below, he speaks about his struggles with pride but that God always helps him through it. He also speaks much of Jesus and His love.
